What information we collect
We receive the information you choose to enter in our forms. This may include your name, email address, phone number, city, preferred language, course schedule or preferences, general stage of citizenship preparation, areas where you want support, event responses, and messages you send us.
If you participate in the Dream Wall, we also receive the story and optional photo you choose to share. These forms do not ask for immigration case numbers, Social Security numbers, passwords, or copies of identity documents.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and follow up on your request.
- To manage your registration, course, schedules, and next steps.
- To record your interest in or attendance at program activities.
- To send confirmations and communications related to what you requested.
- To send you program news or resources when you authorize the combined consent in the registration form.
Your choices and permissions
In the initial form, one checkbox authorizes follow-up about your registration and the delivery of program news and resources. You may withdraw permission to receive those messages at any time. Unsubscribing does not cancel your registration or prevent us from responding to a request you initiated.
When information is shared
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may allow limited service providers to process information needed to operate the website, receive forms, organize the program, or deliver communications, while following our instructions. We may also disclose information when required by a valid legal obligation or when necessary to protect a person or the website.
Public stories and photos
Dream Wall stories remain private while awaiting review. We publish your name, story, and optional photo only when you expressly accept publication and the content is approved. Once published, any visitor may see it. You may ask us to remove your story or photo at any time.
Essential technical data
The website may temporarily save form progress in your browser so you do not lose what you entered. It also keeps limited technical records to prevent abuse, protect forms, and control repeated attempts. We currently do not use third-party advertising trackers.
How long we keep information
We keep information for the time reasonably necessary to respond, manage the program, provide the follow-up you requested, and honor the permissions you gave us. Promotional information is kept until you withdraw that permission; a published story is kept while it remains on the Dream Wall; and technical records are kept only as long as necessary for security. We then delete the information or reduce it to data that no longer identifies you, unless a legal or security obligation requires us to keep it.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, withdraw permission, or stop promotional messages. Before changing or providing information, we may ask for reasonable details to confirm that the request truly comes from you.
