From the Dominican Republic to her own American dream

Ingrid Morales was born in the Dominican Republic and came to the United States like so many others: with hope, fear, and a determination to move forward. As a single mother, she knows what it means to quietly fight for a better future.

For more than 20 years she built her career in hospitality, eventually becoming a Customer Service Manager. Along the way, she discovered that her experience could help others. That is how the book and the My American Dream program, which she created and leads, were born.

Today, her mission is clear: no one should travel the path to citizenship alone.

“It does not matter where you come from; what matters is where you are willing to go.”

— Ingrid Morales
